Dead Tree Stormy Sky

"Dead Tree Stormy Sky" by Debbie Oppermann. While out in our motorboat on the Pickerel River outlet, Georgian Bay Ontario Canada we could see the thunderstorm heading our way. We were a little worried as there was no shelter in this remote wilderness area and we were trying to find a place to park the boat and get out of the elements but it was our lucky day as it just missed us. This lone dead tree stands as a sentinel on the rough and rocky shore where the forest fire had passed, with the storm clouds in the background.
